Default New for 2017 - Rigg Gear Deluxe Adventure 100% Waterproof Dry Saddlebags

New for 2017, we have introduce a completely new, all redesigned line of Adventure waterproof Saddlebags. These heavy duty bags offer improved functionality, durability and mounting at an affordable price. As all Rigg Gear dry bags, these saddlebags are made from a waterproof and durable 24oz Tarpaulin PVC featuring electronically heat welded seams. The UV coated outer material cleans easily and prevents slipping or marking. But what make these bags unique is that all mounting hardware are aircraft grade aluminum. That’s right, NO breakable plastic buckles. From the water tight roll closure to the compression straps that can also be used to mount our dry roll bags, they all use custom aluminum G-Hooks that lock the webbing in place. A removable stiffener and firm internal back plate allow the bags to hold their shape when empty. No more need to cut up small trash cans. Also included are 2 lightweight saddlebag liners to easily remove and pack contents and a pair replaceable foam pads that help protect the bags from contact with rack. Backed by a LIFETIME warranty, these saddlebags are available in Black (SE-3050-BLK), Yellow/Black (SE-3050-YEL) and can easily mounts to most Motorcycles, PWC, and snowmobile.

    Main compartment measures: 15”L x 8”W x 14”H
    Holds 27.53 Liters per side
    MSRP $199.95/pair

Will these saddle bags mount securely to the luggage brackets on my 08 R1200GSA. I would like to use the lighter, softer bags for dirt road adventures. The aluminum boxes are great on the street, but not as safe as soft luggage off pavement.

They will mount to virtually all racks. The only issue would be if the rack isn't flat as the back of the bags are. If you email (forumsupport@nelsonrigg.com) us some photos of your racks, we can better answer your question.
