    I'm safely home.
Thanks to everybody for joining in.

I'm looking at doing the same ride in Feb or March with sunshine.
I want to take Liz to those places 2-up.
I'll post up that ride when the time comes.
Pics from me will get up tomorrow.

.......and the tail gunner checking in. Home with a glass of wine in hand. An excellent day. Enjoyed the drive and being out with old friends and some new. I'll post up some pics next year. Happy New Year everybody!

    Happy New Year!

The weather turned out pretty nice. Very cool temps. Never got to 60 on my BMW thermometer. 40-55 most of the day.
The group was small and easy to go with the flow.
We had a nice breakfast at the Longstreet Casino at the State Line. Then on to Death Valley.
The road to Dante's View was closed.
We stopped at Artist Pallet, Badwater. Both had loads of visitors.
A gas and light lunch stop at Shoshone.
I noticed a BBQ place in Tecopa as we went thru. Lots of cars in the lot. Maybe a lunch stop there in the future would be nice. We skipped the Date Ranch as desertdweller reminded us of the road conditions might not be nice to the pretty Harley.
The only rain I hit was just West of Mountain Springs on the Pahrump highway. Then a little just as I got home.
I only have a few pics.

Here's Terese, Dirtbag, and Donna at Artist Pallete.

Matt and Steve discussing Artsy stuff.

Finding parking was tough at Badwater. Look up the rock wall and you will see the mark for Sea Level.

I found this out back of the Crowbar Saloon/Cafe in Shoshone. Hmm I think this is a known M2W stop.

Once again; 19 pictures and associated text dumped and gone while trying to post to this RR. I've had this happen too many times. The ride was fun but posting pics to this forum is a BIG PITA!!!!!

Do you have a smart phone? If so get Tapatalk app. Costs about $4. If pics are on your phone, it's 100 times easer to post pics using Tapatalk. Give it a try.
