If the battery is charged and the starter is new, it could be the ignition switch, I had that problem in a Chevy Lumina. I took it to a Chevy dealer and they thought it was something else. It would start at my house but not when I left work. The auto parts store should be able to load test the battery and check the charging system to rule that out. Good luck.

    So truck sat over night.
    Battery sitting reads 12.54.
Truck started gauge on dash shows charging, jumped up higher than normal.
    Metered at battery showing 14.9

It's not the alternator. Perhaps an open circuit somewhere. Any electrical accessories recently added?

    Nope, nothing new.
But I'm looking around engine compartment for chewed wires.
Found Rat Crap on intake box and extra battery tray.
Guess it liked the truck being parked 3 months!
    Will look deeper tomorrow.
If someone could tell me how to test for a short or draw I would appreciate it.
Had it act up this afternoon again.
Click, Click then turned over on third try.
I can try ignition switch like mentioned up the list.
Just happen to have one in a box that I picked up a while back but never swapped out.
Thought switch was acting up a while back as I had random electrical acting up.
Heater and driver window would intermittently not work.
Ended up being burned up fan switch and bad regulator.

12.5V. I'm going for the battery call. My Dodge wouldn't make a peep with a battery at 12.8 or less. The first time I though 12.5 plus should be fine.
