I'll be taking the lead on the street ride.
A dirt ride will have to be handled by others.

I would appreciate if vegashotwheeler and tombstone would send me any info from previous years to guide me thru this.
You guys have the tips on good places to stop etc.

If you are leaving from the gas station in Blue Diamond, I like to go off 160 at Old Spanish Trail Highway and take that to Tecopa and then up 127 to Shoshone. Just north of Shoshone you can take Badwater Rd to DV. Stop at Badwater Basin, then north to Artists Drive, and on to Furnace Creek for lunch. Then you could take 190 toward Death Valley Junction with stops at Zabriske Point or Dantes View. Then on to DVJ and down 127 to Shoshone or Stateline Road to Pahrump. The Longstreet Casino is a good place to eat as well, it's on 127/373 just over the Nevada line in Amargosa Valley NV. I lead rides for the local spyder group so I have pre-ridden this route. Hope this helps.

This ride is pretty much same route Tombstone was looking at.
He was looking at China Date Ranch before Tecopa.
Shoshone was a usual stop at the Crowbar for a bite to eat and people can top off fuel if necessary across the street at Chevron.
Furnace Creek we usually stopped and had a snack, drink, and fuel if needed.

I led our Spyder group on this ride on Dec.3. It was cold (37) to start but warmed up when we got to Shoshone CA (premium gas was 4.07/gal). Lunch at the 49er Cafe was good but not cheap. Burgers with fries averaged $15 plus drinks were $3.50. We did not get gas in Furnace Creek, waited until we got to Pahrump. 67 degrees in Furnace Creek.
